Palace Resorts Presents “The Meeting Planner – Make Your Own Movie Contest” and gets Meetings Rolling
Website Provides Meeting Information in a Fun and Innovative Way

Miami, FL, July 16, 2007 – Palace Resorts, the company that set the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations, is changing the rules of the meeting industry once again. With the grand reopening of two newly renovated resorts, the addition of Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort, Palace Resorts’ first venture into the Dominican Republic that is slated to open in the Fall of 2008, and Isla Mujeres Palace, opening in the Fall of 2007,Palace continues to redefine the concept of an all-inclusive meeting.

Based on the success of last year’s “Meetings Game Contest,” Palace Resorts is pleased to invite meeting planners to “take the director’s chair” and create their own original movie with “The Meeting Planner – Make Your Own Movie Contest” at www.themeetingplannermovie.com. Set on location at the newly renovated Cancun Palace, this interactive website allows planners to learn about Palace Resorts and its state of the art meeting facilities, spas and golf courses, while creating a three-act movie that is composed over a three-month period. The objective of the series is to be the hero that saves the day and keeps the meeting running smoothly despite possible mishaps and unruly attendees.

“The Meeting Planner – Make Your Own Movie contest is our way of adding a little fun to meeting planning,” said Ginny Davito, Vice President, Group & Incentive Sales for Palace Resorts. “Not only are we continuing to educate planners on the outstanding personalized service, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, breathtaking accommodations and unlimited activities that they can pass along to their guests for a great value when they book with us, but we are also giving them the chance to poke a little fun at the industry and all the possible mishaps that go into planning a successful event.”

Act one, which is slated to launch on July 17th, highlights the day in the life of a meeting planner, and is the first of three acts. Here, visitors to the site will be given the opportunity to view and select three scenes from a series of ten options to create the beginning of their three part film. Once they are satisfied with their sequence, they can save the “Act” and be automatically entered into a random drawing for prizes as well as be entered into the grand prize drawing of a five night, all-expense paid trip to any of the nine all-inclusive Palace Resort properties, or Le Blanc Spa Resort, a new luxury brand of Palace Resorts, that will be awarded at the end of the contest.

In the coming months, Palace Resorts will launch Acts 2 & 3, which will feature the topography and amenities of the Palace meeting resorts, as well as educate the planner on the available meeting offerings at individual properties.
